Wow thanks! I'm also been searching for local game studios here in Manila, and so far I've seen some promising ones. I'm now doing some refreshing and learning on the needed skills if I ever decided to take the blue pill. It's been my interest for a long time to enter the industry, just haven't have the chance and guts to really follow my heart.

I bought my Wii at Sim Lim Square. I can't remember what exact store it is but I went in and asked every store there. In the end I made a deal with the seller to sell me the Wii 650SGD but instead of 2 sucky games, I asked to have a 2nd set of controllers. 650SGD is standard Wii price there during that time. As for PS3 40GB -- yes, it's true that it's cheaper at the moment because Sony released a different PS3 version recently. Those cheap PS3s are probably the old stocks that weren't sold when they were still expensive.

Hi! A fellow pinoy game programmer here. I've been reading your blog for quite a while now and I must say that Im really impressed by your works (and also your everyday adventures). And kahit papano eh nakakarelate ako sa work experiences mo. Btw, I've been working here in Singapore for 9 months now and all I can say is it's been great so far. I've been working with so many skilled and experienced game programmers and because of that, (I think) I have improved my own skills as well (the good pay, doesn't hurt either :P). Anyways, wishing you good luck in your game dev path!

Sorry Paolo, my hands are tied. Why wouldn't you just purchase a cool driving game for your steering wheel set? :-) Even though, I do make one, it will take a long time and would just cost more than the real off-the-shelf games.
